Vanessa Wright scored a game-high 18 points to lead the Misericordia University women's basketball team to a 76-54 win at Saint Mary's College of Maryland in the Cougars opening game of the second semester, Monday.

The 2009 Misericordia baseball schedule has been finalized and posted on the athletics department Web site. The team opens the season with a doubleheader against Shenandoah in Winchester, Va., on Feb. 14. They host Wilkes March 24 in this season's home opener.
