Campus Ministry

 

OUR MISSION

 

Campus Ministry at Misericordia University services the Mission of the University by making visible and effective our Mercy charisms and Catholic/Mercy Tradition. We seek to reach out with love and respect persons of all faiths and backgrounds and invite them to join us in our mission.

 

We do this by:

·  Nurturing and celebrating our faith through our spirit filled liturgies and prayer

·  Educating our students on Christian values, morals, leadership and good decision making

·  Faith Formation- developing in our students practice of prayer and reflection to help

   them discern God’s call in their life.

·  Fostering a passion for social justice issues that enable our students to be advocates

   on behalf of those who are poor and oppressed.

·  Empowering students to be leaders in ministry and service on campus and in the community.

 

In keeping with the University Mission and tradition, all of the programs sponsored through Campus Ministry directly correlate and express the founding Sisters of Mercy values and attitudes of Mercy, Service, Justice, and Hospitality.
