
Misericordia University's Adult Education programs recognize the special needs of the adult learner. Approximately 40% of our total student body is nontraditional. This, along with convenient predictable scheduling, makes the undergraduate programs at Misericordia University a convenient and attractive way to successfully complete your educational and career goals. Classes are available to the adult learner during the early morning, day, late afternoon, evening, online, or weekends.
Additionally, as an official CLEP (College Level Examination Program) testing site, its acceptance of Prior Learning Assessment credits, and its transfer policy and articulation agreement with area community colleges, Misericordia University helps students transfer and quickly attain credits towards their undergraduate degree.
The following undergraduate majors are available in the accelerated evening and weekend formats. These and other majors are likewise offered in the traditional formats.
Certificate programs are offered in Addiction Counseling, Child Welfare, Early Childhood Education, Gerontology, Management Information Systems, New Media IT, Post-Professional Pediatrics for OTs and PTs, Secondary Education, Graduate Education-Bridge Certification, and Diagnostic Medical Sonography. These programs allow working professionals to enhance their skills or specialize in service to a particular area. The certificate programs may stand alone or be taken in support of several degrees offered at Misericordia University.
