Movies 14 is the area's newest theater

Misericordia University is located in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania and is full of opportunities. It's a wonderful place to live, work, visit and of course, to have fun!.

While you are experiencing Misericordia University there are plenty of avenues available for your entertainment. In addition to many of the popular Campus Events, there are six movie theaters in the area.

There are also several local venues to see a wide range of concerts and performing arts. These venues include Wachovia Arena, The Toyota Pavilion at Montage Mountain, The Kirby Center and The Scranton Cultural Center. These venues are notorious for bringing in national acts on a regular basis.

Dave Mathews Band, The Warped Tour, Ozzfest, REO Speedwagon, Aerosmith, Breaking Benjamin, Faith Hill and Toby Keith are just some of the acts to recently visit the area.
