Each year Misericordia University hosts numerous performances by outstanding national artists and organizations. Events run the gamut from live theater to folk music. Many celebrate diversity and the arts. Most of the events are free of charge.

MUSICA MISERICORDIA PERFORMANCE IS

THURSDAY, MARCH 25, 7PM *****

Musica Misericordia

An evening of solo performances and chamber music by members of the Misericordia music faculty. The performers will present a wide variety of classical music and jazz. A light reception will follow the concert.

Dr. George Sprenglemeyer will perform a guitar concerto by Castelnuovo Tedesco. Tsukasa Waltich will accompany him on the piano and will also play music by Chopin and Schumann to celebrate the 200th anniversary of their births.
Soprano Jean Grube will sing German lieder by Schumann and Brahms.
Dr. John Curtis will perform classical piano music composed by Billy Joel.
The evening will conclude with jazz selections played by Jim Waltich.

7:00pm. Lemmond Theater. No charge.

Photo-journalist Robert Capa (b.1913-1954), is attributed with redefining the term "photojournalism," as his photography was accomplished literally from the trenches of the front lines of combat. Pauly Friedman Art Gallery
