You are the center of community service at Misericordia University. You make the difference!
As a student participant in service learning, you will learn by putting your classroom knowledge and skills to use by experiencing community needs. You will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of many who need your time and talents: the aged, the infirmed, children, disabled, individuals from different socio-econmic, religious, racial, and cultural backgrounds. You will work hand-in-hand with community partners and those they serve to deal with real, true to life problems.
If you are interested in this exciting opportunity talk to your professor about starting service learning within a selected course. You can also call the Service Leadership Center at (570) 674-6203.
