Opened in 1995, Gildea Hall was designed as an residence option for upper class students. Rather than a standard double room, Gildea offers suites, co-ed by unit, and holding three, six, or seven occupants. Standing four floors, it is a modern facility equipped with air conditioning and elevator access.
Each suite contains a full bath, a common room, and several bedrooms with loftable furniture. In terms of occupancy, bedrooms are designed as singles, doubles, or quadruples. Each bedroom is equipped with cable and internet access, desks, wardrobe closets, and dressers.
Each of the four floors has a small lounge where students can gather for study or recreation. All lounges are equipped with a television and the third floor lounge offers a ping pong table. Directly across from the lounges is a community kitchenette. Washers are dryers are located in the basement.
