Julie Bogaert is a junior psychology/ physical therapy major from Bangor, PA. She is a first time orientation coordinator after being an orientation leader the previous year. Julie is a member of the committee for Relay for Life here at Misericordia and participates in the Physical Therapy club. She has been on two Spring Break service trips, volunteering at Mercy Neighborhoods in Philadelphia and taking part in a Habitat for Humanity build in Punta Gorda, FL. She is a lifetime member of Girl Scouts and is still actively involved in the Girl Scout community, being a certified archery instructor. She enjoys dancing and spending time in the Thousand Islands in the summer whenever she can.
Tori Dziedziak is a junior psychology major and a first-time Orientation Coordinator from Shenandoah, PA. Since her first year as an MU student, she has taste-tested many different extracurricular activities; she has been a part of Student Government, Peer Advocates, the Highlander, the Mercy Leadership Program, SOUL, History Club, SEARCH, Physical Therapy club, and the Women's Volleyball Team. Her employment on campus is with the Athletic Department in game management and in the Marketing/Communications department as a student blogger. She is heavily involved with service through and outside of MU, and her favorite volunteer opportunity is at a leadership seminar called HOBY. She enjoys bonding with friends, writing, juggling, and learning how to unicycle.
Robert Romagnolo is a second year Orientation Coordinator. He’s a Senior Psychology major with a minor in Management who was raised in Cresco Pennsylvania, about ten minutes from Mt. Pocono. Rob is in the Psychology club and is a Psych Mentor, which is a program that’s helps First-Year and new Psychology majors. He also participated in the Intercollegiate Wilkes-Barre Leadership program during 2013-2014. Robert also works in the Student Activities office, and his little free time he enjoys fencing as well as numerous outdoor activities which include hiking, fishing, and kayaking.
Zachary Sabaday is a second year orientation coordinator from Pottsville, PA. He is a junior biology major and a member of the campus’s Peer Advocate team as well as a member of both the Sexual Assault Facts and Education and Substance Abuse Peer Educators team. He holds a position as a student member of the board of trustees and is a member of clubs such as AMSA, Biology, and the Multicultural Club. He has recently attended a cultural immersion service trip to Peru in May and plans to attend habitat for humanity service trips in the future. He works at Sun Tan City and is a lifeguard at his city’s pool back home. In his free time he enjoys going to the gym, hiking, and swimming. His goals for next years are to continue taking courses in the biology curriculum while helping contribute to making Misericordia a safe and friendly campus for all.
