Spring Break Service Trips
SPRING BREAK SERVICE TRIPS:
Students must apply for Spring Break Service trips in the fall semester every year. Upon acceptance students must give a deposit to hold their space for the trip. Students must attend 4 or 5 mandatory pre-trip meetings and participate in three group fundraisers. The costs of the trips vary for each trip. Three Spring Break Service trips happen during Spring Break every year.

Habitat for Humanity:
Our groups have traveled to Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Orleans, West Virginia and Texas for Habitat Trips. Students on Habitat help to build houses in local communities for low income families that are in need of housing. Students live and travel together while working together for a week with Habitat.
Inner City Trips:
There are usually two or three inner city trips that work directly with inner city poor people. From homeless people to undocumented immigrants, elderly, homebound and underprivileged children, these trip could be taken for credit as part of a religious studies service learning course. Students take the course in early spring, travel for one week and then complete the class after Spring Break. Students have traveled to places Washington DC, Philadelphia, Laredo Texas, Sacramento California, Cincinnati, and Hartford. The location of the trip varies each year as does the cost.
