DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
The recent reorganization of the Department of Community and Economic Development focuses all budgetary resources on the core mission and goals of job creation and economic and community development. Public-private partnerships will be employed more strategically by the department to help create jobs and develop thriving neighborhoods.
DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
The Department of Environmental Protection’s (DEP) mission is to protect Pennsylvania’s air, land and water from pollution and to provide for the health and safety of its citizens through a cleaner environment. We will work as partners with individuals, organizations, governments and businesses to prevent pollution and restore our natural resources. DEP has dozens of grants and loans to assist individuals, groups and businesses with a host of environmental issues.
