Presidential Transition Committee

Purpose:

The Presidential Transition Committee will ensure that (1) the transition between retiring President Michael MacDowell and incoming President Thomas Botzman is accomplished systematically, (2) that the contributions of the retiring president are celebrated appropriately, (3) that the new President is thoroughly introduced to all aspects of the University life and welcomed by the larger community, and (4) that the University community itself is able to be meaningfully engaged in this important transition in its life.

Membership:

John Metz, Chairmen of The Board of Trustees, has appointed a Presidential Transition Committee:

• David Wright- Chair, Faculty Senate
• Martha Stevenson- Chair, Staff Council

Carol Fahnestock is the Administrative Assistant to the President/Secretary to the Board of Trustees.
