The 2013 commencement week will occur May 13-18 **Due to the large number of expected graduates, a maximum of SIX tickets for Commencement Convocation 2013 will be given to each participating graduate. Graduates may pick up tickets in the Registrar's office starting Monday, April 15, after completing the online graduating student survey. Guests without tickets are welcome to watch the ceremony on campus on closed circuit television in our Cougar's Den in the Bank's Center. The ticket limit is necessary to maintain fire safety regulations.

Graduates are to have their own caps and gowns for rehearsal, which may be picked up at the book store. 3:00 p.m. Class Photographs, Anderson Center- Following rehearsal, the entire class will be photographed as a group in the Anderson Center. Caps and gowns are required. 6:00 p.m. Awards Ceremony, Lemmond Theater- For graduates and guests Award recipients will be notified prior to the event. No tickets required for admission. | | Saturday 18 9:30-11:30 a.m.- Check- Out of Residence Halls 10:00 a.m. - Anderson Center Doors Open 10:30 a.m. -Baccalaureate Mass, Anderson Center- Graduates and families of all faiths are welcome to participate in this important part of our Mercy identity. No tickets are required for admission. 12 p.m. - Anderson Doors Close.Please do not leave any items behind or attempt to save specific seats. No guests or personal items (including jackets or blankets on chairs) can remain in the Anderson Center while the building is closed. 12:00 - Noon - Commencement Lunch, Banks Student Life Center- No charge for graduates; $8.50 charge for each guests. Tickets are required. Commencement Rehearsal - 1:00 p.m. All graduates, unless excused by the Vice President of Academic Affairs, must attend the commencement rehearsal and ceremony. Graduates are to have their own caps and gowns for rehearsal, which may be picked up at the book store. Procession and seating will be according to degree conferred. The order will be: BA, BS, BSW, MS, MSOT, MSPT, MSN and DPT.
Class Photographs - 3:00 p.m.
Following rehearsal, the entire class will be photographed as a group in the Anderson Center. Caps and gowns are required.
Awards Ceremony - 6:00 p.m. For graduates and guests. Award recipients will be notified prior to the event. No tickets are required for admission in Lemmond Theater.

Please note that the Anderson Center is open on Commencement day at 10 a.m. for Mass that begins at 10:30 a.m. The Anderson Center closes immediately after Mass (noon) and opens for guests again at 12:45 p.m. No guests or personal items (including jackets or blankets on chairs) can remain in the Anderson Center while the building is closed.
- Any graduate or family member or guest of a graduate who requires disability service arrangements such as parking, should notify the Dean of Students' Office at 674-6238 as soon as this guide is received.
Guests will not be allowed to interrupt graduates' procession into Anderson Center. Late arrivals will be seated after graduates are in the building. A capacity crowd is expected.
