If you are entering Misericordia as a freshman, you are likely to spend your first year on campus in McHale Hall.
McHale Hall
McHale is a traditional dormitory-style facility, housing both men and women. It's close to classrooms, athletic and recreation facilities, and the Banks Student Center.
Newly renovated Fireside Lounge
The ground floor was renovated in the summer of 2005 to add space for 27 additional students. This floor also has a newly renovated Fireside Lounge, which usually hosts meetings and other campus events.
The kitchen in Fireside Lounge
Fireside Lounge is a popular hangout with a big screen TV, comfy couches, ping-pong and foosball tables, and a full kitchen.
McHale dorm room
The upper three floors house both men and women. Rooms are air-conditioned and elevator accessible. Each room has a large closet, ample drawer space, desk, and a sink. Public payphones exist on each floor. Separate men's and women's bathroom and shower facilities are located on each floor.
McHale Hall
Room dimensions in McHale are 10 feet x 17 feet. McHale, like all the other residential areas, is led by a full-time professional Residence Hall Director and has student Resident Assistants on every floor.
