Department of History and Government honors top graduates

The Department of History at Misericordia University recently recognized the academic accomplishments of its graduating seniors by presenting them with awards at the annual Honors and Awards Ceremony in Lemmond Theater in Walsh Hall on campus.

Nathan Delmar of Shavertown, Pa., received the Bishop 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Award that recognizes a student for outstanding achievement in history.

James Cerulli of Larksville, Pa., was awarded the History Department Award for High Achievement.

Patrick Smith of McAdoo, Pa., was presented with the Professor Donald Fries Award for excellence in history.

The students graduated May 18 at the 87th annual Commencement ceremony at the Anderson Sports and Health Center on campus.
