The University is vitally concerned about the safety of all employees. The University's goal is to provide safe work areas, equipment and materials. To protect their own and others' safety, all employees are expected to observe safety rules and report any unsafe condition to the Campus Safety Department.
Each department is responsible for turning off all electric appliances and securing University facilities within its purview.
All employees should lock all windows, turn off all lights, lock doors and storage facilities when they leave an area unattended and at the close of the workday. Employees working outside regular hours are expected to re-lock all areas upon entering and leaving a building.
All incidents of theft or vandalism should be reported immediately to the Campus Safety Department.
