Each year Misericordia University hosts numerous performances by outstanding national artists and organizations. Events run the gamut from live theater to folk music. Many celebrate diversity and the arts. Most of the events are free of charge.

Easter Egg Hunt and Brunch with the Easter Bunny

We the Kings - concert

The alternative rock band We the Kings will perform in concert as part of Spring Fest Weekend. They will be joined on stage by two opening acts, Subnotics and A Fire with Friends. The Subnotics are a nine-piece reggae band that plays classic Bob Marley and the Wailers Band material, as well as original songs. A Fire with Friends is a seven-member indie rock band from Scranton, Pa., which recently released the album, “Ghost House.” We The Kings is touring the country in support of its fourth album, “Somewhere Somehow.” Anderson Sports and Health Center, 7 p.m. Ticket Prices: $20 MU students; $25 General public.

MU to London and Paris

Travel with the MU Alumni Association for three nights in London and Paris with round-trip transportation to Newark Liberty International Airport. Misericordia - An Evening with TEMPLE GRANDIN

Temple Grandin is a noted animal expert with a doctoral degree in animal science and advocate for autistic populations. She has penned the books Animals in Translation and Animals Make Us Human. As a high-functioning autistic person, she has utilized her hypersensitivity to relate to and articulate to others with autism as well as provide consultation on the humane treatment of animals.??7:30 p.m.  Lemmond Theater?No charge.
