**Teacher Scholarship Program: Teachers in public and parochial schools, and those with active certifications are eligible for scholarship assistance in the Graduate Education Program. With this assistance, tuition is $325 per credit. **Proof of teacher certification required
Alumni Discount - 1/3 off graduate tuition up to 6 credits per semester. Discount does not apply to Expressway, DMS or Nuclear Med Tech courses.

Financial Aid and Student Loans
Students who have already earned a Bachelors Degree are no longer eligible for grant assistance. However, you may still borrow under the Direct Stafford Loan Program. Students must enroll for a minimum of 4.5 credits to qualify for Direct Stafford loan assistance. Graduate students may borrow $20,500 every two (2) semesters.
The Application Process - All students who wish to be considered for federal student loans must apply for admission to the University at www.misericordia.edu/apply
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) - All students, regardless of their state of legal residence, must submit a "Free Application for Federal Student Aid." The University uses the information collected on this application to determine eligibility for all Federal and Institutional aid and loan programs. www.fafsa.gov

General Eligibility - Undergraduate Student - To be eligible for financial aid consideration you must:
- demonstate financial need as determined by the FAFSA,
- be a U.S. Citizen or eligible non-citizen with a valid Social Security Number,
- be enrolled at least half-time in a degree or certificate program at the University. Full-time enrollment is a minimum of 12 credits per term. Half-time enrollment is a minimum of 6 undergraduate credits per term,
- be registered with the Selective Service, if you are a male 18 to 25 years of age, (www.sss.gov to register)
- not owe a refund on a federal grant or be in default on any federal educational loan,
- be making satisfactory academic progress toward your degree,
- show you're qualified to obtain a postsecondary education.

Payment Plan Options
Tuition Reimbursement: Your employer may have a tuition reimbursement program already in effect. Check with your company's human resource office for details.
Credit Card payment: You may pay for tuition by credit card (MasterCard, Visa or Discover)
Check or Cash: You may pay for tuition in full prior to the start of classes.
Deferred payment plan: Under deferred payment, you pay tuition in installments, with full payment due by the end of class. Twenty percent (20%) of the tuition is due at registration and there is a one percent (1%) charge on the unpaid balance each month.
