Admissions Requirements and CSWE Education Statement

The minimum criteria for admission into the Social Work program is the same as set by the University. However, during the second year or at the beginning of the third year, students must formally apply to the Social Work Program. Application should be reviewed by the student with the advisor before it is submitted to the program chair. Application to the Social Work Program can be found under the 'forms' tab.

Successful transfer applicants will typically hold a minimum collegiate grade point average of 2.0, having completed at least 15 college credits, and have a proven record of success in high school or collegiate science courses. Transfer students must also submit a formal application.
