

Student Newspaper – The Highlander: The award-winning campus newspaper, The Highlander, is published by students in two editions: full-color broadsheet print and electronic online. The Highlander is an important source of news relevant to students, faculty, and staff, as well as a learning experience for newspaper staff members. All students, regardless of major, can join The Highlander staff. Communications majors take the management positions and a Communications faculty member advises the paper's operation. –
Student Television Station - Munson Center Network: MCN 87 broadcasts from the studio lower level Munson Center and airs across campus cable stations. The station is run by the communications department and airs the award-winning news magazine show, CougarCast along with other student produced projects. The station allows students to raise the bar of video productions within the communications department by creating professional grade portfolio pieces airing on television.
Student Internet Radio Station - Cougar Radio: Cougar Radio is Misericordia's student-run radio station. The station’s signal is streamed through the college's Intranet portal. Students program, manage and are the talent for the station. All students, regardless of major, can join the radio station staff. Communications majors take the management positions and a Communications faculty member advises the paper's operation. In fall 2007, Cougar Radio will begin broadcasting worldwide on the Internet.
