Staffing

The Director of Residence Life oversees all aspects of the Residence Life Program at Misericordia University.  Working in conjunction with the Assistant Director, the office is responsible for providing students with a well maintained, safe and positive environment in which to live.

Each building is supervised by a  professional Resident Director (RD) who is a live-in  graduate student.  Resident Assistants (RAs) are upper class student members of the Residence Life Staff, who are assigned and reside  in the residential facilities / areas.

Staff members are well trained and committed to meeting the needs of all residents.  They are responsible for establishing and maintaining a positive residential community and are available to listen to concerns. ranging from roommate difficulties to the physical condition of a students' room  They also act as referral agents and direct students to the appropriate offices for the resources offered at the University.  The staff also provides residents with a wide range of recreational, educational, and cultural programs that support the University's mission.
