The Speech-Language Pathology program at Misericordia University offers a 5 year master's degree in speech-language pathology. The majority of our students enter the program as traditional, full-time students in their first year, although limited opportunity exists for adult learners and bachelor's degree holders.
Speech-language pathology is one of the fast growing health practice areas and presents a growing number of career opportunities. Students earn a baccalaureate degree in Health Sciences and a Master's of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Students are ready to enter the field as practicing speech and language therapists. The program also accepts transfer students and others who have earned a baccalaureate degree, either in a discipline other than speech-language pathology, or specifically in communication sciences and disorders or speech-language pathology.
The Speech-Language Pathology program at Misericordia University is a Candidate for Accreditation by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
