Residence Life offering safe trick-or-treat event on campus

The annual event is Oct. 27 from 3-5 p.m.

Misericordia University Department of Residence Life will offer a safe trick-or-treat event for children on Sunday, Oct. 27, from 3-5 p.m. Area residents are invited to bring their children to campus and visit a number of the university’s residence halls. The halls that will be open for trick-or-treating will include McHale, Alumni and Monsignor Andrew J. McGowan residence halls. There will also be treats in the lobby of Gildea Hall. The buildings, all on the Upper Campus, will be marked with decorations for easy identification.

The Residence Life staff will also sponsor a trick-or-treat fair and will provide a variety of Halloween-themed activities for the children including face painting and crafts. The fair will be located on the first floor of Michael and Tina MacDowell Hall, the newest residence hall, located just inside the North Gate of the upper campus.

For additional information, please contact Annmarie Narcum, Residence Life Office, (570) 674-6178.
