Kaufman, Williamson, Phillips, Schaefer and Becker receive recognition from Department of History

The Department of History at Misericordia University recently recognized the academic accomplishments of its graduating seniors by presenting them with awards at the annual Honors and Awards Ceremony in Lemmond Theater in Walsh Hall on campus.

Ann Kaufman of Williamsport, Pa., was presented with the Award for Excellence in Government, Law and National Security.
Maria Williamson of Dallas, Pa., received the Bishop 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Award that recognizes a student for outstanding achievement in history.
Mallory Phillips of Mayfield, Pa., and Theodore Schaefer of Bridgeton, N.J., each were awarded with the History Department Award for High Achievement.
Catie Becker of Shickshinny, Pa., was presented with the Professor Donald Fries Award for excellence in history.
The students graduated May 17 at the 88th annual Commencement ceremony at the Anderson Sports and Health Center on campus.
