Zydecoal
Dallas, Pa. - The Pocono Mountains' premier Cajun/Zydeco band, Zydecoal, will bring their spicy mix of Louisiana Cajun and rock 'n' roll to the Misericordia University First Union Amphiteater on Sunday, July 14. The concert, which begins at 8 p.m., is one of the Starlight Concerts in this summer's "Under the Stars" series of performances. This five man band has been heating up the dance floor throughout the northeastern United States since 1994. Offering an eclectic mix of Cajun music and rock 'n' roll, Zydecoal is led by Bill Davis and backed by Dave Gonzolo, Matt Ward, Mike Halchak and Bob Gryziec, a bass player who's performed with the Buoys and Chuck Berry.

Zydecoal's song selections include their own material, as well as cover songs by a variety of artists, including the Neville Brothers, Chuck Berry, Buckwheat Zydeco and the Grateful Dead. Zydecoal has performed throughout the East Coast, including stints at The Bayou in New York City, the Norfolk Virginia Bayou Festival and at several Pocono Mountains resorts.
